The Company

ZEST Security is bridging the gap between identifying security risks and resolving them. ZEST offers an AI-powered risk resolution platform that enables security and DevOps teams to remediate and mitigate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and other risks at a scale and speed that wasn’t possible before.

We’re seeking a our first BDR to join the GTM team. This is your chance to join a fast-moving, well-funded cybersecurity startup before Series A. You’ll work directly with the founding team and play a major role in building ZEST’s sales pipeline.

Role Description

  • Be the first line of contact with prospective customers – executing outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and personalize outreach that resonates with CISOs, security leaders and practitioners.
  • Collaborate with our GTM leaders to fine-tune messaging and prioritize ICP accounts.
  • Partner with Account Executives to schedule high-quality discovery meetings that convert to pipeline.
  • Maintain clear records of activity, outcomes, and notes in our CRM.
  • Be the voice of the field – bringing back real customer feedback to help us improve our pitch, product, and positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in tech or cybersecurity.
  • Clear communicator – both written and verbal – with a confident, curious, and consultative approach.
  • High energy and comfort with rejection. You thrive on outreach and are motivated by goals.
  • Comfortable making cold calls, writing tailored emails, and juggling multiple accounts at once.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to self-manage in a startup environment.
  • CRM experience (HubSpot) is a plus – but hunger and grit matter more.
