Director of Marketing (Demand Generation)

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Marketing (Demand Generation) to own and execute the full spectrum of marketing activities that drive awareness, demand, and revenue growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing marketing operations, demand generation, field and digital marketing, PR, analyst relations, and the marketing technology stack. The ideal candidate is a full-stack marketer with strong operational rigor, technical expertise, and leadership ability to scale programs across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with leadership to build and execute an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Drive planning and execution of demand generation campaigns, field marketing events, and digital programs to deliver pipeline impact.


Marketing Operations

  • Own and optimize the marketing operations function, including campaign performance measurement, reporting, and attribution in Hubspot.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Sales to ensure lead management, pipeline tracking, and revenue contribution are measurable and transparent.
  • Oversee the marketing technology stack, ensuring systems (CRM, automation, analytics) are integrated and effectively utilized.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage marketing service providers and technology partners.


Brand, PR & Analyst Relations

  • Manage relationships with PR agencies, media partners, and industry analysts to strengthen market presence and thought leadership.
  • Amplify product launches using PR & social media and digital channels.
  • Manage content calendar including blogs and long-content for lead generation efforts.
  • Manage analyst relations including setting up and preparing for all inquiry calls and vendor briefings.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in demand generation or growth, with at least 2 years as a manager or a senior individual contributor in B2B SaaS cybersecurity industry is a must
  • Proven track record in demand generation and digital marketing.
  • Deep understanding of marketing operations, lead management, campaign measurement, and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong experience with marketing technology including CRM / marketing automation platforms e.g. Hubspot.
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills.
  • Experience managing PR and analyst relations is a plus.
  • Willingness to take on projects and activities outside of the traditional Demand Gen scope.
