Gartner® names ZEST twice in one report

Dvir Sasson

VP, Al & Security Research

In its Emerging Tech Impact Radar: Preemptive Cybersecurity, published 11 September 2026, Gartner® named ZEST Security a Sample Vendor in two categories, and ZEST is the only vendor named in both:

  • Preemptive Exposure Management
  • Autonomous Exposure Remediation

In vulnerability management, finding vulnerabilities isn't the hard part, since security tools already surface plenty of them. The hard part is proving which ones are exploitable and closing them before an attacker does, which is what continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) is for and exactly what ZEST is built to do.

How ZEST closes the loop

Validate. ZEST tests each reported vulnerability for reachability and exploitability and dismisses the ones that fail, with evidence.

Mitigate. If a control you already run, like a zero trust access policy or a cloud guardrail, protects against a vulnerability, ZEST Preemptive Mitigation validates that protection and marks the vulnerability Mitigated.

Remediate. Everything else goes to Automated Remediation, where ZEST's AI agents fix it at the root cause, so one misconfiguration behind many exposures becomes one fix, simulated on a Digital Twin before it is applied through your deployment system.

Trust comes from evidence

Gartner writes that autonomous exposure remediation (AER) "shifts security from reactive, manual patching to a preemptive discipline." We think that shift depends on trust, which is why no fix ships without a simulation and every dismissal and mitigation carries its evidence.

If your vulnerability management team knows about more vulnerabilities than it can close, book a demo at zestsecurity.io/book-a-demo and we'll show you what ZEST does with them.
